Bode Flanigan earns podium finish in the men's slalom

NEWRY, Maine - The Boston College skiing team kicked off the 2025 EISA season at Sunday River Resort, competing in the Bates carnival on Friday and Saturday.

Bode Flanigan led the way for the Eagles, placing third in the men's slalom (1:43.64) and earning 44 EISA points. He also placed 10th in the giant slalom (2:30.21).

Alexandra Cosette took 6th in the women's giant slalom with a time of 2:35.55, which earned her 37 EISA points.

Other notable finishes:
Nick Kirwood took 25th in the men's giant slalom (2:32.79)
Lauren Hunter took 18th in the women's giant slalom (2:38.46)
Avery Leonard placed 19th in women's giant slalom (2:38.54)
Ryan Bianchi placed 24th in the men's slalom (1:45.70)
Jasmine Whittaker tied for 17th in the women's slalom (1:48.59)
Meagan Olsen placed 25th in the women's slalom (1:49.98)
