
Peltier Scores Twice In Win Over Cornell

The Eagles defeat Cornell in the final non-conference road match of the season.
ITHACA, N.Y. - Paige Peltier scores twin in the second half to lift Boston College over Cornell 3-2.
Boston College wasted no time to get on the board first. Ella Richards found the back of the net in the sixth minute for her second goal of the season.
Cornell responded by scoring in the 15th minute of the match. Leaving the score all knotted up at one apiece going into the second half.
In the second half, the Eagles controlled the possession. Graduate Student Paige Peltier scored back-to-back goals six minutes apart to give BC a 3-1 lead.
The Big Red could only find the back of the net again, giving the Eagles the 3-2 victory.
Captain Emily Sapienza, Sydney Segalla and Georgina Clarke all dished out assists.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday at 1 p.m. ET against Cal St. Fullerton.
