Ward Named ACC Running Back of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- In his return to Tallahassee, Boston College graduate running back Treshaun Ward (Plant City, Fla.) produced 138 yards of offense for the victorious Eagles against the No. 10 Seminoles and was voted the ACC Running Back of the Week. Ward rushed for 77 yards and added a receiving touchdown as he earned BC's first ACC weekly honor of the season following a 28-13 win.

Ward averaged 6.4 yards per carry with 12 rushes, including a long of 23. He was Boston College's leading receiver with three catches for 61 yards. Ward produced a long of 42 yards and scored on a 13-yard reception in the second quarter. The touchdown marked the first of his BC career and 21st overall in his sixth season of college football.

Two years ago, Ward rushed for 48 yards and a score as a member of the Seminoles in a 2022 game against BC in Tallahassee.

For the game, Boston College outgained FSU, 263-21, on the ground.

The Eagles are back in action on Saturday at home against Duquesne at 3:30 p.m.
