Eagles are six shots off the lead; Markus Lam (-2) tied for sixth place after round one
HAMPDEN, Mass. -- Boston College is six shots off the lead after day one of the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse. Â BC shot a 5-over par team total of 293 through the first 18 holes of play.
Markus Lam leads the way for the Eagles, sitting in a tie for sixth place after a 2-under round of 70 on Sunday.  Ben Hong and Christian Emmerich are tied for 23rd, with a 2-over 74.  As a team, BC leads the field in par 3 scoring (2.90 avg; -2 overall) and is third in par 5 scoring (5.05 avg; +1).  The Eagles have 57 pars and 12 birdies.
BC returns to action for round two at the UConn Invitational at GreatHorse on Monday, Sept. 30.
