Bond Voted ACC Wide Receiver of the Week

BC's leading receiver capped a 100-yard performance with a game-winning touchdown.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Boston College redshirt-junior wide receiver Lewis Bond (Chicago, Ill.) was voted the ACC Wide Receiver of the Week as announced by the league on Monday afternoon. It marks Bond's first career ACC weekly award and the second of the season for the Eagles.
Bond scored the game-winning touchdown for BC on a 42-yard catch-and-run in the fourth quarter against Michigan State in the Red Bandanna Game. He totaled six receptions and 102 yards, marking his second career 100-yard game. Three of his receptions turned into first downs on third-down attempts.
For the season, Bond is Boston College's leading receiver with 16 receptions for 258 yards and two touchdowns. He has 72 career receptions, 944 yards and nine touchdowns.
The Eagles are 3-1 on the year and in action at home this weekend against Western Kentucky on Family Weekend. Kickoff is slated for Noon ET on ACC Network. Limited tickets remain at BCEagles.com and on SeatGeek.
