Baseball Announces 2024 Fall Ball Slate

Eagles will host Quinnipiac and Sacred Heart in fall scrimmage action
BRIGHTON, Mass. — Boston College Baseball head coach Todd Interdonato has announced the 2024 fall ball schedule, which includes two scrimmages and concludes with the annual five-day intrasquad World Series.
The Eagles will open their fall slate on Saturday, October 5 against Quinnipiac, hosting the Bobcats at 1:00 p.m. BC and QU have faced off eight times since 2005, with the Eagles holding a perfect 8-0 all-time record, most recently knocking off the Bobcats 11-5 at home in 2019.
Three weeks later, and the Eagles will welcome the Sacred Heart Pioneers to Harrington Athletics Village for their second and final fall scrimmage at 3:00 on Saturday, October 26. The Eagles and Pioneers matchup dates back to 2006, with BC winning all three games, including the most recent in March of 2023, where the Eagles held on 8-7.
To conclude the fall campaign, the Eagles will once again play in the Sonny Nictakis World Series, an intrasquad competition from November 6th to November 10th, honoring the late Sonny Nictakis '99, a two-time Birdball captain who passed away in 2000, following a courageous battle with Hodgkin's disease.
All fall ball action will take place at the Eddie Pellagrini Diamond at the Harrington Athletics Village on the BC Brighton campus.
