“Inside BC Football” returns to NESN, weekly radio show moves to the Stockyard.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football's Bill O'Brien era kicks off on national television Monday, Sept. 2 at Florida State. In advance of the season opener, season three of "Inside BC Football" debuts on NESN, while the Eagles will showcase a new location for the weekly radio show, debut a rebranded podcast and launch an expanded web series.
Episode one of "Inside BC Football" airs on NESN on Saturday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. following the Red Sox game. The first episode will re-air on NESN+ Sunday, Aug. 25 at Noon ET and Saturday, Aug. 31 at 9 p.m.
The "BC Football" show on WEEI 850 AM will now air on Thursdays from 6-7 p.m. in a new location closer to campus. Coach O'Brien will join the voice of BC football Jon Meterparel and BC and NFL alum Pete Cronan at the Stockyard Restaurant in Brighton. All episodes will air live and are open to the public. The first episode is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 29 before BC's week one game at FSU.
The Podcast For Boston feed will have a fresh feel for football season with the newly-rebranded "Committed to BC" serving as the official podcast of Boston College football. Former BC quarterback Scott Mutryn and BCEagles.com contributor Dan Rubin return to host the weekly show, featuring all the latest news and insight around Eagles football as well as a weekly interview with O'Brien or BC student-athletes.
The latest season of "Around The Heights", BC's weekly athletics update show, will be co-hosted by BC women's ice hockey senior Katie Pyne and WZBC student-radio broadcaster Giovanni Culotta. The Podcast For Boston is available on Spotify, Apple, Amazon and everywhere Eagles fans get their podcasts.
An expanded web series, "BC Report" published its first episode to the @BCEagles YouTube channel on Wednesday. The first episode is part one of a three-part, season preview series featuring O'Brien and players. The show is hosted by Eric Gallanty.
WEEI remains the flagship of Boston College football on the radio with select games airing on 93.7 FM and all games on 850 AM. Meterparel enters his 20th season on play-by-play, while Cronan celebrates his 36th year in the both as color analyst. Mutryn will be back on the sidelines as a reporter and analyst for his 12th season. Games can be streamed on SiriusXM, BCEagles.com, the BC Eagles app and the Audacy app.
Coach O'Brien will also make a weekly appearance on WEEI's "Greg Hill Show" Thursday mornings for a live hit at 6:45 a.m.
