
Watkins Announces the 2024 Schedule

The regular season slate features a total of 19 games, including 12 home matches and 10 ACC fixtures
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team and head coach Chris Watkins announced the schedule for the upcoming 2024 season today. The regular season slate features 19 games, including 12 home matches and 10 ACC fixtures.
The Eagles will host a pair of exhibition games against UMass Lowell (Aug. 8) and McGill (Aug. 10) before kicking off the 2024 season at home against Jacksonville University (Aug. 15). Boston College begins the year with four-game home stint starting with Jacksonville, followed by Merrimack (Aug. 22), Gardner-Webb (Aug. 22) and LIU (Aug. 26) to close out the opening home stint. Â
BC hits the road for the first time when they travel up to New Hampshire to take on Dartmouth on Thursday, Aug. 29. UMass Amherst will come to town three days later (Sept.1). The team closes out their non-conference road matches with a trip to Cornell on Sept. 5. The Eagles will close out their non-conference schedule at home with Cal St. Fullerton (Sept. 8) and Grambling State (Sept. 19).Â
ACC play begins at home on Thursday, Sept. 12 with a match-up against Notre Dame. The Eagles will hit the road to face new ACC opponents SMU on Sunday, Sept. 15, and return to the back heights to face Virginia Tech (Sept. 22).Â
BC will then play two consecutive road games. The team opens up October at NC State (Oct. 6) and Clemson (Oct. 6). The Eagles return home to host Florida State (Oct. 12) before hitting the road to face Duke (Oct. 19) and Louisville (Oct. 24).
The final two home and regular season games come against Miami (Oct. 27) and Syracuse (Oct. 31).Â
The ACC Tournament quarterfinals will be held at campus sites, with the winning teams advancing to Cary, N.C. for the semifinals and championship.
