
Eagles Announce the Signing of Five Transfers

Head Coach Chris Watkins announced the signing of five transfer players.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team and head coach Chris Watkins announced the signing of five transfer players on Tuesday. The new Eagles arrive from Gonzaga, Harvard, Notre Dame and Wake Forest. The five 0athletes that have signed with the Eagles include one midfielder, one defender, one goalkeeper and two forwards.
In addition, the Eagles have six incoming freshmen who signed their National Letter of Intent in November.
Ava Lung
Position: Forward
Height: 5-9
Hometown: Westwood, Mass.
Previous Team: Harvard
Before BC: She spent five seasons at Harvard University as a two-year captain and helped the team capture its first-ever Ivy League Championship to secure an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament… Started in all 19 games for the Crimson as a Graduate Student… Named Academic All-Ivy and CSC Academic All-District.. Missed the majority of her sophomore year due to Covid and Freshman season due to injury.

Faith Fenwick
Position: Goalkeeper
Height: 5-8
Hometown: Markham, Ontario
Previous Team: Gonzaga
Before BC: Appeared in five matches during her freshman season at Gonzaga, ending with 118 total minutes on the year… Allowed seven goals on 15 total shots faced, finishing the season with a goals allowed average of 5.29… She had two saves this season, maintaining a save percentage of 22.2%... Earned her first collegiate victory and faced a career-high seven shots against Hawaii.

Paige Peltier
Position: Forward
Height: 5-11
Hometown: Hastings, Minn.
Previous Team: Notre Dame
Before BC: She spent the last four seasons at Notre Dame… played in 22 games for the Fighting Irish as a forward… As a junior in 2022, playing in a career-high nine games and recorded her first career goal for Notre Dame in the NCAA tournament … During her freshman season she did not see any action.
Coach Watkins on Paige: "Paige has been playing and winning in the ACC for years. Her knowledge and experiences will be important for our team."
Grace Courter
Position: Defender
Height: 5-11
Hometown: Bellevue, Wash.
Club: Gonzaga
Before BC: Spent three seasons at Gonzaga… During her junior year, she recorded her second consecutive season, starting in all 20 matches for the Zags… Led the team and established a career-high with 1706 total minutes her junior season, including playing all 90 minutes on 14 separate occasions… During her Sophomore season, she recorded her first collegiate point scoring one goal with one assist.

Baylor Goldwaite
Position: Midfielder
Height: 5-5
Hometown: Durham, N.C.
Club: Wake Forest
Before BC: Spent the last two seasons playing at Wake Forest. During her sophomore season, she made her collegiate debut playing 19 minutes in the 3-0 victory over Idaho State ... Logging a career-high 45 minutes against Iona… Did not see any action during her Freshman year.
Coach Watkins on Baylor: "Baylor has the potential to be a major player for us in the Midfield. She is ambitious and poised for a breakout season."
