Men's Track and Field Compete at ACC Outdoor Championships

BC finishes 15th overall with five total points.
ATLANTA, Ga. – The Boston College Men's Track and Field team placed 15th overall at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at George C. Griffin Track, which took place May 9-11.Â
Boston College finished 13th overall, earning five points. Virginia won the Men's team title with 107 points, while Virginia Tech (102.33) and North Carolina (102) rounded out the top three. Â
Thursday
The Eagles started off day one of the ACC Indoor Track and Field Championships with the Men's 200m Prelims. Colin Kravitz finished 19th overall with a time of 21.70.
Steven Jackson was the top finisher in the Men's side on Thursday night, placing fourth overall in the Men's 1500m prelims with a time of 3:43.26. Jackson earned a spot in the Men's 1500m final on Saturday night.Â
Andrew Healey raced in the lone final for the Eagles on the Men's side on Thursday night, placing 18th overall in the Men's 10,000m final with a time of 30:32.97.Â
FridayÂ
Boston College started off the second day of the championship meet with the Men's 400m prelims. Colin Kravitz finished with a time of 50.72, placing 24th overall.
Cruz Brown earned a personal best time of 1:49.51 in the Men's 800m prelims, while placing 11th overall. Patrick Mulryan (1:52.86) placed 31st overall.
Saturday
The Eagles headed into the final day of the championship meet with Steven Jackson competing for the Men's 1500m championship.Â
Jackson placed fourth overall in the Men's 1500m final with a time of 3:42.60, earning second team All-ACC honors.
