The Eagles held their second scrimmage of the spring inside Fish Field House.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football held its 12th practice of spring ball and second intrasquad scrimmage inside Fish Field House on Saturday morning. The Eagles are one week away from the Jay McGillis Memorial Maroon & Gold Game coming up on Saturday, April 13 at Noon ET.

OFFENSIVE HIGHLIGHTS
●     Running back Treshaun Ward  was involved early in both the run game and pass game.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Thomas Castellanos and the offense moved the ball down the field as he hit an open Jaedn Skeete in the middle of the field. Later in practice, Skeete made a move to get open and Castellanos hit him in time before the safety could help and Skeete found the pylon for the score.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Datrell Jones moved the ball on the ground time-and-time again with several physical runs.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â The offensive line pulled to open a chunk run for Jordan McDonald.

DEFENSIVE HIGHLIGHTS
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Defensive tackle Cam Horsley continued his dominance on the defensive line, consistently making plays in the backfield and stuffing runs at the line of scrimmage.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â A Quintayvious Hutchins sack on third down forced the offense into a 48-yard field goal.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â The ones ran it back with back-to-back series and the defense came up with a stop on third-and-one.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Linebacker Kam Arnold forced a fumble that was recovered by Daveon Crouch.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â In an end of game scenario with the offense needing a field goal to win, George Rooks and Donovan Ezeiruaku posted back-to-back sacks to maintain a one-point lead.

SPECIAL TEAMS HIGHLIGHTS
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Connor Lytton opened the scoring with a 29-yard field goal.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Lytton's strong day continued with a 48- and 47-yard field goal.
â—ŹÂ Â Â Â Â Lytton later hit a 50-yard field goal on the last play of the day in a game-winning scenario.

SEEN ON THE SIDELINE: Saturday was the most crowded sideline in Fish Field House all spring, even more so than any "closed to the public" lacrosse game. Former BC quarterback and NFL Most Valuable Player Matt Ryan headlined the alumni in attendance along with BC Varsity Club Hall of Famer and fellow first-round pick Gosder Cherlius. Boston Celtics head coach Joe Mazzula also made an appearance inside Fish and addressed the team following practice.
