The Eagles took to the field for their final spring practice ahead of Saturday's Maroon & Gold Game.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College football held it's 14th and final spring practice inside Fish Field House on Thursday morning. The Eagles wrap up the spring season on Saturday with the Jay McGillis Memorial Maroon & Gold Game. The team takes the field for warm-ups at 11:15 a.m. with a Noon ET start on ACC Network.

Defensive HighlightsÂ
Special Teams Highlight: Luca Lombardo drilled a 52-yard field goal in the final session.Â
Seen on the sidelines: Former Eagles quarterback and BC alum Phil Jurkovec returned to watch practice.Â

Offensive Highlights
- Grayson James took the majority of the first team reps on Thursday, starting the day with a completion to Treshaun Ward in the first team session.Â
- James spread the ball around on Thursday, linking up with Matt Ragan, Luke McLaughlin and Jaedn Skeete over the next two team sessions.Â
- Matthew Rueve spread the wealth as well, connecting with Jayden McGowan and Jeremiah Franklin on consecutive plays in the second team session.Â
- Rueve tossed two touchdowns in red zone work, first finding McLaughlin in the flat and then to Datrell Jones on a great play-action design.Â
- Jones logged his second score of the session on a strong run on a draw play.Â
- James accounted for three touchdowns in red zone work, first finding Jerand Bradley on a jump ball at the goal line.
Defensive HighlightsÂ
- Bugg Jones made the first interception of the day in 7-on-7 work.Â
- Sedarius McConnell and George Rooks combined for a strong pass rush for a loss in the second team session.Â
- In the third team session, Neto Okpala brought pressure and Max Tucker was there to stop a short pass play in its tracks.Â
- Max Tucker made another great play in goal-line work, breaking up a crossing route and forcing the incompletion.Â
- Owen Stoudemire stuffed a run in the backfield as a part of a strong day for the defensive line.Â
- In red zone work, Jalen Cheek blew up a read-option on the first play, with pressure from Okpala.Â
- With the offense backed up in their own end, Ryan Turner flew unchecked into the backfield to force a safety.Â
- Donovan Ezeiruaku finished practice strong, first stuffing a swing pass in the backfield and then bringing QB pressure to force a throwaway.Â
- Over the final two team sessions, the secondary locked in with PBUs from Jones, Daveon Crouch, Carter Davis, K.P. Price, and Sione Hala.Â
