CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Three Boston College women's basketball players were named to the 2023-24 ACC All-Academic Team, as announced by the conference office on Thursday.
Lili Krasovec, Nene Ndiaye, and Teya Sidberry made the list for the first time in their careers, as all spent their first seasons with the Eagles.
Sidberry, a political science major, started all 33 games in her debut campaign. The Salt Lake City transfer averaged 13.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, 1.8 steals, shot 45.5 percent from the floor and 78.6 percent from the charity stripe. She led the team in scoring, rebounding, blocked shots and free throw percentage. Sidberry scored 10 or more points in 24 games and recorded three double-doubles.
Krasovec, an international studies major, played in 29 of 33 contests in her freshman season. The forward from Hungary averaged 10 minutes of action and scored in 15 contests. Krasovec scored in double figures in two games, highlighted by a personal-high 12 points and seven rebounds against Stonehill.
Ndiaye played in 30 games with one start in her first year with Boston College. She scored in 23 contests, including a 10-point outing with five off the glass in a road game against Louisville.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team's contests.
