Eagles Set to Face Huskies in Hockey East Semifinal

The Eagles will take on #10 UConn on Wednesday night at Toscano Family Ice Forum
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The fourth-seeded Boston College women's hockey team will take on top-seeded Connecticut on Wednesday night in the Hockey East Tournament semifinal.
Puck drop between Boston College and #10 Northeastern is slated for 6 p.m. at Matthews Arena. The contest will air on NESN.
The championship game will be held on Saturday, March 9 to determine the winner of the Bertagna Trophy.

- Boston College and UConn will meet in the Hockey East Tournament semifinal round on Wednesday night at Toscano Family Ice Forum ... the two sides have met five times in the last six years.
- The Eagles won all three regular-season meetings this season, in the last meeting went to a shootout with BC
- The Eagles advanced to the program's 15th semifinal by way of a 2-1 overtime win over Providence while the Huskies earned a berth after topping Holy Cross, 4-2.
