Men's Tennis Falls to Wolfpack

Eagles swept by NC State 7-0
RALEIGH, N.C. – The Eagles (4-11, 0-8 ACC) dropped the final match of the weekend trip to No. 16 NC State (13-5, 6-2 ACC), falling 7-0 on Sunday.
The Eagles would drop the first two doubles matches to the Wolfpack, both finishing 6-4. #78 Robin Catry and Luca Staeheli of NC State and Will Kasten and Jake Vassel would play an unfinished match, ending with a score of 3-5. NC State would earn the doubles point for the match.
The Wolfpack would start the singles round winning four straight matches in straight sets. Jake Vassel would take #103 Luca Staeheli of NC State into a tiebreaker round, ultimately falling to Staeheli 6-3, 7-6 (7-2). Juan Jose Bianchi and #46 Robin Catry of NC State went into a tiebreaker, with Catry winning 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (10-2).
