WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Eagles (4-10, 0-7 ACC) dropped the first match of the weekend trip to No. 6 Wake Forest (22-4, 7-1 ACC), falling 4-0 on Friday.

After dropping the doubles point, Boston College would surrender three singles matches in straight sets to allow the Demon Deacons to clinch the match. The three other singles matches ended unfinished with DK Suresh Ekambaram (WFU) vs. Juan Jose Bianchi (BC) ending 6-2, 4-3, while Filippo Moroni (WFU) vs. Caleb Saltz (BC) ended 6-4, 5-4, and Luca Pow (WFU) vs. Will Kasten (BC) finished 6-3, 4-2.
