Spring Ball Practice No. 5
March 19, 2024 | Football
Focused, physical practice featured in Fish Field House on Tuesday morning.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football held its fifth practice of spring ball and second with full pads inside Fish Field House on Tuesday morning. It was notably the most physical practice of the spring session with detailed individual periods and the first look at red zone work as well as sweep running and open-field tackling in a modern version of the Texas Drill.
The final period of the day was a live-tackling, third-and-short situation. The offensive line and running back Kye Robichaux produced several short gains to move the sticks. Quarterback Thomas Castellanos provided the big highlight to end the day on a deep pass to open tight end Jeremiah Franklin on third-and-one.
