March 17, 2024 | Men's Tennis
CLEMSON, S.C. – The Eagles (4-8, 0-5 ACC) were unable to claim their first conference win of the season, falling 7-0 to Clemson (8-10, 1-6 ACC) on Sunday afternoon.
After dropping the doubles point, Boston College would surrender three consecutive singles matches in straight sets to allow Clemson to clinch the match. Caleb Saltz entered a third set in the no. 2 singles match, falling just short 3-6, 6-1, 7-5. Juan Jose Bianchi and Mai Gao's rallies forced third set tiebreakers, however Clemson was able to close out the match and complete the sweep.
