Men's Tennis Swept by No. 26 UNC

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Boston College men's tennis team (4-9, 0-6 ACC) returned to their home courts for the first time this month, dropping a 7-0 decision to No. 26 North Carolina (14-3, 7-1 ACC) on Sunday morning.
All three doubles matches were tightly contested, with the largest margin of victory being two games in the No. 1 and No. 3 contests. The No. 2 doubles match featuring Caleb Saltz and Matt Campbell had the Eagles leading 6-5, but went unfinished with the doubles point already clinched by North Carolina.
BC was unable to recover in singles competition, surrendering five singles matches in straight sets. Juan Jose Bianchi forced a third set in the No. 1 singles match, but fell just short 6-2, 6-7, 1-0.

The Eagles are on the road this upcoming weekend, taking on No. 3 Wake Forest on Friday, Mar. 29 and No. 23 NC State on Sunday, Mar. 31.
