No. 2 Lacrosse Hosts No. 8 Notre Dame in Red Bandanna Game

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The second-ranked Boston College lacrosse team welcomes No. 8 Notre Dame in a top-10 matchup in the annual Red Bandanna Game at 12 p.m. in the first game inside Alumni Stadium on Saturday.

Head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein announced that No. 18 Ryan Smith will wear the No. 19 Welles Crowther Red Bandanna Jersey in honor of Welles Remy Crowther '99.

Last Time Out
BC fended off a pesky Louisville team with a 17-14 win last Sunday.Rachel Clark had herself a day with six goals, an assist and a season-high seven points. Kayla Martello netted her seventh hat trick of the season with four goals, while Ryan Smith had two scores and one assist for a season-high three points. Eight different players scored in the victory. Emma LoPinto tallied a goal and led the team with three assists for four points. The four points for LoPinto is the most in an ACC game for the junior attacker. Abbey Herod registered a team-high five draw controls, while Cassidy Weeks recorded three. Lydia Colasante and Sydney Scales led the team with two caused turnovers apiece, and Belle Smith tied the team lead with three ground balls with one caused turnover and a CT. Shea Dolce recorded seven saves and three GBs.

- Jackie Wolak scored five goals while Kasey Choma registered four in the win. Mary Kelly Doherty scored three times with three assists for six points.
- Lilly Callahan made seven saves in the win.
- Wolak leads the Irish with 36 points (25 G, 11 A), while Choma is second with 28 (18 G, 10 A).
- Callahan has a 9.30 goals against average and a .394 save percentage on the year with 41 saves.
