Win Streak Extended to Three as BC Bests BU 5-2

WEYMOUTH, Mass. – The Eagles (3-1, 0-0 ACC) extended their winning streak to three matches on Friday, claiming a 5-2 victory over Boston University (5-2, 0-0 PAT) in the latest edition of the Battle of Commonwealth Avenue.
The Terriers entered the contest on a three-match win streak of their own, claiming the first doubles match 6-2. Boston College responded quickly to even the series off a 6-3 win from Marice Aguiar and Sophia Edwards. The duo of Natalie Eordekian and Nada Dimovska sealed the deal in doubles competition, taking a 6-3 victory to earn the point.
BC was able to clinch the match early in singles competition, with Seren Agar, Muskan Mahajan, Eordekian, and Aguiar each winning in straight sets.
Sophia Edwards returned to singles action for the first time this spring, forcing a third set after trading 3-6, 6-3 sets against Boston University. With the match already decided, Edwards entered a super tie-breaker, falling just short.
