CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Top-ranked Boston College plays its final series of the regular season in a home-and-home beginning Friday at No. 17 New Hampshire. The Eagles, who wrap up the regular season next Saturday at Merrimack, have clinched a home game in the Hockey East Quarterfinals. The Eagles have won 10 consecutive Hockey East match-ups, sit atop the league standings at 17-3-1 are a point ahead in the Hockey East standings with a game in hand over Boston University. BC's 10-game win streak in league play is the first of 10 or more in Hockey East since the Eagles won 12 in a row in 2012-13. BC swept a series with Vermont last weekend behind 7-1 and 4-2 wins. Sophomore forward Cutter Gauthier totaled five points, including three goals and two game-winners, on his way to earning Hockey East Player of the Week honors.

CUT TO THE CHASE
• Cutter Gauthier had a career-best 14-game point streak, with a 11-10-21 scoring line, snapped against BU (2/5) at the Beanpot.
• Gauthier bounced back from his streak being snapped with a four-point, two-goal performance against No. 17 New Hampshire (2/9).
• Gauthier scored his first career hat trick at Merrimack (1/19).
• Gauthier is the Hockey East and NCAA leader in goals at 29.

• Boston College's all-freshman line of Gabe Perreault, Will Smith and Ryan Leonard has combined for 55 goals, 91 assists and 146 points through 31 games.

• Smith's 51 points are tied with Joe Whitney (2007-08) for fifth and Perreault's 50 points are sixth all-time by a freshman.
• Ryan Leonard surpassed Johnny Gaudreau (2011-12) for the fifth most goals in a season by a BC freshman with his 22nd and 23rd of the season.

• The Eagles are 17-3-1 in Hockey East and have three games left on their schedule.
• BC's 17 league wins are the most since claiming the second of back-to-back regular season titles with a 16-4-1 record in 2020-21.
• The Eagles have won 18 or more league games four times in a season since 2006-07.
• BC last won 18 league games in 2017-18, 19 games in in 2011-12 and 20 games in 2010-11.
• BC exceeded 20 wins the first three seasons of Hockey East before the league schedule was reduced following the 1986-87 season.
