
Flanigan Qualifies for NCAA Skiing Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --Â Sophomore Bode Flanigan has officially qualified for the NCAA Skiing Championships, announced by the National Collegiate Athletics Association this afternoon.
Flanigan ended the EISA season ranked 13th overall in the NCAA Men's Alpine rankings, tallying 142 points across his best two Giant Slalom and Slalom placements this year. The Sophomore amassed 206 points in total, with 124 earned in Giant Slalom action and 82 from Slalom racing.
Bode's best run this season came in the Men's Giant Slalom at the Harvard Carnival, where he finished third for the program's best placement in a full season of EISA competition.
The NCAA championships will begin on Mar. 6 in Steamboat Springs, Colorado and events will continue through Mar. 9. The Alpine events will be held at Mt. Werner and Howelsen Hills, while all Nordic events will be held at Howelsen Hills. All four days' events will be live streamed on NCAA.com. Flanigan will participate in the Men's Giant Slalom on Mar. 6, followed by the Men's Slalom on Mar. 8.
