
Men's Tennis Unable to Contain No. 13 Duke

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Eagles (4-4, 0-2 ACC) dropped a 6-1 decision against No. 13 Duke (9-5, 1-0 ACC) on Saturday.
Boston College started the match strong, taking the doubles point two matches to one. The No. 28 doubles team of Juan Jose Bianchi and Jake Vassel defeated No. 21 Michael Heller and Andrew Zhang in a 7-5 contest. Anesh Jayasundera and Caleb Saltz clinched the doubles point shortly after in a 7-6 victory.
Duke would take control during singles competition, claiming all six points to close out the match. Saltz forced a third set after trading 6-3 sets with Zhang but fell short 10-3 in the final frame.

The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday, Feb. 28 when they host Miami at 10:00 a.m. in Weymouth, Mass.
