
Eagles Take 6-1 Victory over SNHU

WALPOLE, Mass. – The Eagles (4-3, 0-1 ACC) won their second-straight match on Friday, cruising to a 6-1 victory over SNHU (6-2, 3-1 NE10).
Boston College hit the ground running in doubles competition, sweeping the doubles point to begin the night. The No. 28 ranked doubles team of Juan Jose Bianchi and Jake Vassel improved to 5-1 on the season, taking the match 6-2. Anesh Jayasundera and Caleb Saltz followed up with a 6-3 win in the no. 2 doubles match, while Will Kasten and Bennett Turner completed the sweep with a 6-4 victory.
The Eagles didn't miss a beat transitioning into singles action, with Bianchi, Vassel, Saltz, and Mai Gao each winning in straight sets. Will Kasten scored the last singles point for BC, closing out a three-set thriller 6-2, 6-7, 11-9.
