BC Clinches Home Ice for Hockey East Quarterfinals.
BOSTON - The No. 14 Boston College women's hockey team dropped a tough road contest against No. 13 Northeastern.
In the opening period, the Huskies found the back of the net three to give them a 3-0 lead heading into the second period.
During the second 20 minutes, northeastern found the back twice in the second period. The Eagles put one away seven minutes into the second period. Katie Pyne got the lone goal for the Eagles off a pass from Sidney Fess. In the third period, both teams remained deadlocked at 5-1. Giving Northeastern the Victory.
The Eagles have officially clinched home ice for the Hockey East Tournament Quarterfinals.
