Eagles To Honor Seniors Before Saturday Game
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Eagles are preparing for their final home-and-home series this weekend.
The Boston College Eagles and the New Hampshire Wildcats face off to close out the regular season. The Eagles head up north on Friday, Feb. 23, for a 6:00 p.m. puck drop at the Whittmore Center Arena. The Eagles return home on Saturday for the last regular season game with a 2:00 p.m. puck drop.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Boston College and UNH will close out the regular season this weekend with a home-and-home series.
- The Eagles and Wildcats will meet at Whittmore Center Arena on Friday and Kelley Rink on Saturday.
- UNH took the first of the three Hockey East meetings back on Jan. 16, after staking to a 2-2 tie and UNH winning the shootout.
- Both teams have clinched a spot in the 2024 Hockey East Tournament Quarterfinal round.
HOCKEY EAST PLAYOFF IMPLICATIONS . . .
- UConn, Northeastern, and Boston College have all clinched home ice for the quarterfinals.
- Boston College currently sits third with 46 points, UConn sits in first place with 55 points, Northeastern is in second place with 50 points and UNH is in fourth place with 44.
ABOUT BOSTON COLLEGE
- Boston College currently sits with an overall record of 14-11-7 and a conference mark of 13-7-5
- The two sides met earlier this year, with UNH walking away with the shootout victory.
- Sammy Taber leads the Eagles in points (28) and assists (17). Taber was named to the Hockey Commissioner Association Rookie of the Year Watch List.
- The Eagles have ten players that have reached double-digit points this season: Sammy Smigliani (11-14-25) is second on the team in scoring, Abby Newhook (9-11-20), Caroline Goffredo (8-9-17),), Gaby Roy (10-6-16), Julia Pellerin (12-6-18), Katie Pyne (10-6-16), Molly Jordan (4-10-14), Jade Arnone (4-7-11) and Sidney Fess (4-7-11) are among those players.
- Campbell is 14-11-7 with a .923 save percentage, 2.42 goals against average and two shutouts.
ABOUT UNH
- UNH enters the weekend with an overall record of 15-15-2 and a conference record of 12-11-2. In Feburary the team is 3-3-0, the wildcats losses come from Northeastern and a overtime lose to Merrimack.
- Kira Juodikis leads UNH in points with 9 goals and 19 assists for 28 points … Martin has three game-winning goals on the year … Krista Parkkonen has chipped in 23 points on 13 goals and nine assists to go with three power-play goals.
- The Freshman Sedona Blair has played in every game for the Wildcats. Blair has a save percentage of .917 and a goals-allowed average of 2.35.
