CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Top-ranked Boston College takes on No. 11/10 Massachusetts in a home-and-home series this weekend. Game one is Friday in Amherst at 7 p.m. with the finale Sunday at 1 p.m. at Kelley Rink inside Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill. The Eagles are fresh off a 5-0 shutout over Harvard in the Beanpot Consolation Game on Monday at TD Garden with freshman Jan Korec earning a 19-save shutout in his first start. BC and UMass last took the ice against each other in the first round of the 2023 Hockey East Tournament; a 5-2 home win for the Eagles. Boston College is has won 10 of 11 against the Minutemen and won five straight meetings at UMass' Mullins Center.
