Cynthia Zhang fires final round 70 (-2) to lead the way for BC in the Spring Opener
NEW PROVIDENCE, Bahamas -- Boston College finished in 11th place in the 2024 spring opener - the 2024 Nexus Collegiate, held at the Albany Golf Club.  BC totaled 922 for a team score (313-303-306), one stroke behind Michigan in the competitive field. Â
Cynthia Zhang led the Eagles, tying for 15th place. Â The sophomore carded the low round of the week for BC - a 2-under par 70 - during Wednesday's final round of play. Â Angel Lin tied for 36th place, Lin opened the tournament with a 2-over par 74 on Monday before a second round 75.
Stephany Kim tied for 42nd, carding her best round of the tournament - a 2-over 74 on Tuesday. Â Emily Böhrer tied for 61st, while Maya Obermüller was 66th.
The Eagles return to action on Feb. 23-25 at the Reynolds Lake Oconee Invitational in Greensboro, Ga. Â
