
Zhong and Kluskens Earn NFHCA All-American Honors

This is the first All-American selection for both athletes
MANAHAWKIN, NJ -Â Graduate midfielder Yani Zhong has been named to the National Field Hockey Coaches Poll DI All-American First team, while Junior midfielder Eva Kluskens has been named to the third team, the NFHCA announced Tuesday morning. Zhong and Kluskens are two of 48 student athletes who have earned All-American honors for their play during the 2024 season. This is both athletes' first All-American honors.
Across 20 games played for the Eagles this season, Zhong tallied nine goals and three assists for 21 points, while recording five defensive saves. Her 21 points were the 10th most in the ACC, while her five defensive saves were tied for the second-most. Zhong previously earned NFHCA First-Team All-Region honors, First-Team All-ACC honors, and was named to the ACC All-Tournament team.
Kluskens started every game for the Eagles this season, recording one goal and five assists for seven points. A staple of BC's midfield rotation, she provided a spark on both ends of the Field. Kluskens also earned NFHCA First-Team All-Region honors, Second-Team All-ACC honors, and was named to the ACC All-Tournament team
