Women's Hockey Heads North to Take on Maine

The Eagles look to extent win streak against Maine.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Boston College women's hockey team takes the trip up north to face Maine for two games on Friday, Nov. 8 and Saturday, Nov. 9.
Puck drop is scheduled for 6 p.m. on both days, the matches will stream on ESPN+.

- Boston College and Maine will meet for two games at Alfonds Arena.
- Last year in the three-game series BC took home two games and
- The last time out, BC came away with a 7-3 victory over conference opponent Merrimack, with five different Eagles scoring.
- The Eagles are currently on a five-game win streak.
- Sammy Taber came up big for the Eagles against Merrimack. Taber had four points, with two goals and two assists. Taber had three points just in the first period.
A WIN WOULD . . .
- Boston College would improve to 7-3-0 overall and 4-1-0 in Hockey East play.
- Improve BC's record to 50-20-1 against Maine.
- Extends BC's win streak to six games.
SCOUTING MAINE
- Maine currently holds a record of 2-8-0 with a league record of 2-4-0
- The Black Bears opened the season with a three-game skid. Losing to No. 10 Quinnipiac and Providence.
- Maine just split a series against Vermont, in the two games the Black Bears scored three goals while allowing six.
- Alyssa Wruble leads the Black Bears in goals, with three respectively.
- Kiia Lahtinen and Julia Bachetti have split the time between the pipes for Maine. Lahtinen has a save percentage of .890 and a goals-allowed average of 3.06. Bachetti has a save percentage of .886 and a goals-allowed average of 3.92.
