Boston College vs. Syracuse Announced as a Noon Kickoff

The Eagles host the Orange Saturday at Noon ET from Alumni Stadium.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Atlantic Coast Conference announced the week 11 game times late Saturday night including Boston College's Nov. 9 home game against Syracuse, which will take place at Noon ET. The game marks the 100th anniversary of the rivalry's inaugural contest in 1924. The CW will air the game nationally with CW56 carrying the game in Boston.
The Eagles (4-4, 1-3 ACC) are home for the first of three games from Alumni Stadium in the month of November when the Orange (6-2, 2-3) come to town. Both programs are under the direction of first-year head coaches with Bill O'Brien guiding BC and Fran Brown leading Syracuse.
Boston College and Syracuse have met 57 times on the gridiron with the Orange holding a 34-23 lead in the series. The Eagles won last year at the Dome, 17-10. Syracuse has won each of the last three match-ups in Chestnut Hill with BC last defeating the Orange at home in 2014. Syracuse won the first-ever meeting, 10-0, in Syracuse on Oct. 18, 1924.
Saturday will be the Eagles' Military Appreciation and Healthcare Heroes Day. The Boston College Varsity Club will also induct its 2024 Hall of Fame class on Friday night with the honorees, including former football captain Jo-Lonn Dunbar '08, being honored at halftime of the game.
