The Eagles are Set for a Weekend Series against UConn

The No. 11 Eagles and the No. 14 Huskies will meet for a home-and-home series.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The No. 11 Boston College women's hockey team will meet for a home-and-home series against No. 14 UConn.
The series will start on Friday, Nov. 22, with puck drop scheduled for 2:00 p.m. at Kelley Rink and then they take the trip to Toscano Ice Forum on Saturday, Nov. 23 with puck drop scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
Both games will air on ESPN+.

SCOUTING UCONN

WHAT TO WATCH FOR
- Boston College will meet UConn for a home-and-home series.
- Last season, during the three-game series, the Eagles went undefeated. The Eagles won the first two games. In the final game of the series, the two sides played to a tie, with BC taking the extra point in the shootout.
- UConn sits in third place in the Hockey East standings with 20 points through nine games, while BC sits in fourth place with 17 points through eight games.
- Sammy Taber is tied for first place in Hockey East in points with 14.
- Abby Newhook is currently on 100-point watch. Newhook currently sits at 99 career points.
- This will mark BC's second matchup against the 14th-ranked team. Last week the Eagles faced No. 14 BU.

- Boston College would improve to 10-4-0 overall and 7-2-0 in Hockey East play.
- Improve BC's record to 48-26-11 against UConn.

- UConn currently holds a record of 8-6-0 with a league record of 7-2-0.
- The Huskies' conference losses came against Northeastern. The two sides had a close battle in both games, with Northeastern walking away with a 1-0 victory in both games.
- UConn has scored 27 times this year, averaging 1.9 goals a game, while they have let their opponents score 22 times, averaging 1.6 goals per game.
- Claire Murdoch leads UConn in goals with five, she also leads the team in points with 10.
- Tia Chan and Megan Warrener have split time in goal for the Huskies. Chan holds a goals-allowed average of 1.38 and a save percentage of .946. Chan holds a goals-allowed average of 1.68 and a save percentage of .938.
