Swimming & Diving Ready for Terrier Invite

The Eagles will compete at the Terrier Invite, which will be held Nov. 22-24 at BU.
BOSTON, Mass. – The Boston College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving teams are set to compete at the Terrier Invite, which will be held Friday through Sunday on the campus of Boston University.
The meet will take place from Friday, Nov. 22 to Sunday, Nov. 24 at the FitRec Competition Pool on the campus of Boston University. Competition will begin each morning with prelims, followed by finals during the evening. Prelims will start at 10 a.m. each day of the invitational, while the finals will begin at 6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 5 p.m. on sunday.Â
Diving preliminaries will start at approximately 1 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and diving finals will commence 15 minutes after the conclusion of preliminaries.
The Eagles will be joined by Boston University, Fairfield, UMass, Northeastern, Bryant (diving), Babson (diving). The three-day invitational will be available to stream via ESPN+ each night for the finals, while live results will be available on the Meet Mobile app.Â

Last Time in the Pool
The Boston College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving team fell to Fordham in a dual meet on Nov. 8 in The Bronx.Â
The Eagles and the Rams competed in 32 total events, with BC ultimately falling to Fordham 141-157 on the Men's side and 145-155 on the Women's side. The Eagles earned 14 first place finishes throughout the evening, including two diving events.
Megan Kramer and Ben Huffman placed first overall in the Men's and Women's 1000 yard freestyle. Kramer touched the wall at 10:15.10, while Huffman finished with a time of 9:35.62. Kramer also finished first in the Women's 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:58.62, while Huffman placed first in the Men's 500 yard freestyle with a time of 4:39.23.
Lauren Lee earned two individual first place finishes on the night for the Eagles. Lee finished first in the Women's 200 yard freestyle (1:54.30) and the Women's 50 yard freestyle (24.35)
Samantha Smith and Jack Doyle also both earned two first place finishes each during the meet on Friday. Smith placed first in the Women's 100 and 200 yard backstroke events, while Doyle earned the top finishes in the 200 yard freestyle and 200 yard IM.Â
Peter Nolan touched the wall at 50.56 in the Men's 100 yard butterfly to earn first place.Â
The Women's 400 yard relay team of Lauren Lee, Elizabeth Oliphant, Stefanie Burgess, and Madison Connor took home the top spot.Â
Anthony Rosenberger and Angus Williams both finished the night with a first place finish each. Rosenberger competed in the Men's 1 meter diving, while Williams competed in the Men's 3 meter diving.Â
