HOT SPRINGS, Ark. -- Boston College is three strokes off the lead heading into Tuesday's final round at the Diamante Intercollegiate. Â BC registered a 3-under par team total of 285 during Monday's second round of play, putting the Eagles at 7-under through 36 holes of competition.
Cynthia Zhang holds a one shot lead, improving on her opening round 68 with a second day score of 67. Â Zhang posted a bogey-free scorecard on the day, with 13 pars and five birdies.
Stephany Kim sits in a tie for ninth place. Â After opening with a 1st hole double bogey, Kim was 3-under for the remaining 17 holes of play, carding four birdies and 12 pars. Â She has registered back-to-back 1-under rounds of 71.
Emily Böhrer is tied for 37th, carding a 1-over 73 on Tuesday, improving on her opening round 74. Â Böhrer eagled the par 5 11th hole on Tuesday. Â Angel Lin is also tied for 37th after her second round 76. Â Frances Kim sits in a tie for 54th place, shooting a second day score of 74. Â
