Cross Country Competes at Princeton Fall Classic

Men's Cross Country places 11th at Princeton Fall Classic on Friday morning
PRINCETON, N.J. – The Boston College Men's Cross Country team competed at the Princeton Fall Classic on Friday Morning, placing 11th overall. Yasmine Abbes, Kayla Schramm, and Kelsie Vicknair also competed for the Eagles in the Women's 6k.Â
Steven Jackson was the first Eagle to cross the finish line in the Men's 8k race, placing 34th overall. Jackson covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 23:39.9. Theodor Schucht finished behind Jackson with a time of 23:44.3, earning him 42nd place.Â
John Garvey (24:06.1) and Will Purnell (24:07.4) crossed the line at 73rd and 74th place respectively, while Edward Sullivan (81st) was the final scorer for the Eagles with a time of 24:10.6.
Patrick Mulryan (24:33.9) finished 101st overall and Aidan Brancaccio (24:44.7) finished 116th to round out the top-seven finishers for the Eagles.Â
The Boston College Men's Cross Country team finished 11th overall with 289 points, while Villanova (70) took home the win on the Men's side at the 2024 Princeton Fall Classic. Georgetown (87), Princeton (92), North Carolina (106), and Colorado State (138) rounded out the top-five finishers.Â
Yasmine Abbes was the top finisher for the Eagles in the Women's 6k, placing 60th and crossing the line at 20:51.8. Kelsie Vicknair completed the six-kilometer course with a time of 21:50.9, while Kayla Schramm finished at 23:46.8.Â
The Boston College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams will compete at the 2024 ACC Cross Country Championships on Friday, Nov. 1st in Cary, N.C.Â
