Eagles set to compete at Princeton Fall Classic and Wisconsin Pre-Nationals
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams continue their 2024 season with the Princeton Fall Classic and Wisconsin Pre-Nationals. The Princeton Fall Classic will take place on Friday, Oct. 11 in Princeton, N.J., while Wisconsin Pre-Nationals will be on Saturday, Oct. 12 in Madison, Wisc.Â

The Princeton Fall Classic will take place on Friday, Oct. 18 at the Meadows Campus of Princeton University. The Eagles will be racing in the Women's 6k at 10:30 a.m., and the Men's 8k at 11:15 a.m.Â
BC will feature 13 runners on the Men's side, as well as three on the Women's side. John Fitzpatrick, Sean Fortunato, Mac Kittrell, Jack Nauman, and Kayla Schramm will be making their season debuts for the Eagles on Saturday.Â

The Wisconsin Pre-Nationals will feature 20 teams ranked inside the top-30 of the USTFCCCA week 3 national poll. The field also highlights six top-10 teams, including No. 1 NAU, No. 2 BYU, No. 3 Washington, No. 4 Notre Dame, and No. 5 NC State.Â
The Eagles will be competing in the Women's "A" race, which is set to begin at 11 a.m. ET. The meet will be available to stream via RunnerSpace, and live results can be found via PT Timing.Â
Last Time Out
Boston College last competed on Sept. 27 on the Women's side when they traveled to Madison, Wisc. for the Nuttycombe Invitational. The Eagles competed against some of the top teams in the country on the Women's side, including 14 teams in the USTFCCCA top-30 national poll. Molly FitzPatrick started off the day for the Eagles with a first place finish in the Women's 6k "B" race. Roshni Singh was the highest finisher for BC in the Women's 6k "A" race, placing 52nd overall with a time of (20:58.6). The Eagles finished 14th overall, compiling 349 points on the day.Â
The Men's team traveled to Bethlehem, Pa. on Oct. 5 for the Paul Short Run. Steven Jackson was the first Eagle to cross the finish line in the Men's College Gold 8k, placing 29th overall. Jackson covered the eight-kilometer course in a time of 24:04.8. Theodor Schucht finished just behind Jackson with a time of 24:05.0, earning him 30th place. The Eagles finished in 12th place with 389 points.Â
