» Boston College is back in the Commonwealth of Virginia for a Thursday night game against Virginia Tech at Lane Stadium for a 7:30 p.m. kickoff on Oct. 17.
» The game will be broadcast on ESPN. Matt Barrie (play-by-play) and Dan Mullen (analyst) are on the call with sideline reporter Harry Lyles Jr.
» Coverage on the Boston College Sports Network begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff on WEEI 93.7 FM. Jon Meterparel (play-by-play) is joined on the call by former BC linebacker Pete Cronan in the booth and quarterback Scott Mutryn on the sideline.
» The game marks just the second Thursday game on the BC schedule since a 2018 win at Wake Forest.
» Boston College trails the all-time series, 11-20, including an 8-10 mark in ACC regular season games. The two teams were previously conference opponents in the Big East from 1991-2003.
