Eagles Fall In Hockey East Opener

WORCESTER, Mass. – The Boston College Eagles and the Holy Cross Crusaders faced off in the Hockey East Opener. Holy Cross came up with a 4-1 victory over the Eagles on Thursday evening.
Freshman Trica Piku gave the Eagles the early lead in the first period. The Crusaders put in the equalizer shortly after. Holy Cross notched their second goal off a power play to give them the 2-1 advantage entering the second intermission. In the final period, Holy Cross added their final two goals in the final frame.
