AMHERST, Mass. -- The Eagles (2-1, 0-0 ACC) earned their second-straight victory of the spring season, besting UMass (0-1, 0-0 A10) in a 5-2 match.

After dropping the first doubles match, the pair of Muskan Mahajan and Nada Dimovska cruised to a 6-2 win to tie the series at 1-1. Marice Aguiar and Natalie Eordekian finished the job for the Eagles after clinching the doubles point in a 6-4 bout.

Boston College would surrender the No. 6 singles point by default, tying the match at 1-1 entering singles competition. Eordekian would score first for BC, notching a victory in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 to even the score after the Eagles dropped the No. 4 match. Mahajan gave the lead Boston College after securing a 6-2, 6-3 win. The Eagles held on to the lead the rest of the way, with Aguiar (3-6, 6-4, 6-3) and Dimovska (6-1, 6-4) closing out the match.
