Eagles hold a two-stroke lead over West Virginia heading into Monday's final round
VERONA, N.Y. -- Boston College's Jack Pogorelc sits atop the leaderboard after the opening two rounds of play at the inaugural Red Bandanna Invitational at the Turning Stone Resort's Kalyuhat course. Â The sophomore was 3-under through the first two rounds of play, carding an opening round 71 before posting a second round 70.
As a team, the Eagles hold a two stroke lead over West Virginia through the opening two rounds of play on Sunday. Â George Mason is in third, followed by Delaware and Longwood.
Ben Hong is tied for fifth place, playing the first 36 holes at even par. Â He opened with a 3-under 69 - the team's lowest round of the tournament so far. Â Cameron Harlock is tied for 11th place, with a 3-over total of 147 (73-74). Â Mac Bredahl rounds out the BC scorers, sitting in a tie for 17th place (71-78).
The third and final round of the Red Bandanna Invitational will be held tomorrow, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Â BC will be paired with West Virginia and George Mason.
