Eagles Edged by No. 10 Wake Forest

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College men's soccer suffered a 1-0 setback to No. 10 Wake Forest on a rain-soaked Friday afternoon at the Newton Soccer Complex.
BC falls to 2-4-3 overall and 0-3-1 in ACC play, while the Demon Deacons move to 7-1-3 and 2-1-1 league action.
Brennan Klein made a season-high five saves against WF, keeping the Eagles within striking distance after Wake Forest scored in the ninth minute of the contest.
Wake Forest kept the 1-0 lead for the remainder of the contest, as it held the BC offense at bay. The Eagles registered nine shots, but one was on goal.
Augustine Boadi led three different players with two shots, and had the only shot on goal.
BC returns to action on Monday against Suffolk at 5:30 p.m. at the Newton Soccer Complex.
