First day of full pads in the books for the Eagles

Offensive Highlights: Emmett Morehead floated a great ball to Ryan O'Keefe in the first team session, converting on a deep post for a big gain. Thomas Castellanos looked explosive on the ground all morning, on both broken plays and designed runs. Taji Johnson caught two touchdowns today, both in 9-on-9 work. Jaden Williams took a shallow cross for a big gain in the second team session, and Lewis Bond made a nice diving catch along the sideline in the same session.
Defensive Highlights: Victor Nelson had two interceptions today, the first a lunging grab in the end zone to prevent a touchdown, and the second a full-extension leap on a ball over the middle of the field. The run pressure began in the first team session and persisted throughout the day. The secondary produced a strong coverage sack in the final team session on third and six.
9-on-9, Thud Tempo: Jaden Williams ran a sharp corner route and got open for a long completion from Emmett Morehead, down inside the five on the first play. Lewis Bond made a nice jumping grab for a first down. Taji Johnson logged both of his touchdowns in this session, and Victor Nelson logged his first INT of the day to save a touchdown.
