Women's Soccer Suffers Setback at Michigan

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - Boston College women's soccer suffered a 1-0 setback on Thursday evening to Michigan at U-M Soccer Stadium.
The Eagles fall to 1-3-1 on the season, while Michigan improves to 1-1-2.
It was another defensive battle in the first half, as the Eagles and Wolverines went into the break tied, 0-0.
Michigan broke the tie 37 seconds into the second frame after a Gabrielle Prych score.
Boston College came up with multiple opportunities in the second half, as five of their seven shots on goal came in the final 45.
Ella Richards led six Eagles who tallied a shot on goal, delivering a pair of attempts that were on target. Boston College out shot Michigan 12-11 and held a 4-3 edge in corners. Sonia Walk, Bella Douglas and Aislin Streicek tallied a shot on goal as well, while attempting two shots.
The Eagles return to action on Sunday against Akron at 1 p.m. in search of their first road win.
