Eagles begin 2023 fall camp in Chestnut Hill.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College football opened its 2023 fall camp from Fish Field House and Chamberlin Field on Thursday morning. The Eagles' August schedule features 20 practices spread out over 23 days. BC's preseason leads into the season opener against Northern Illinois at Alumni Stadium on Sept. 2.

Highlights: Two early connections from quarterback Emmett Morehead to Jaden Williams for first downs led the offense down the field. Transfer QB Thomas Castellanos (UCF) and the twos utilized Xavier Coleman in the pass game out of the slot. In Castellanos first series with the ones, he found Williams immediately across the middle. In the second team period, Castellanos threw over the top to Dino Tomlin for a long touchdown pass. The following series, Morehead went deep to freshman Jaedn Skeete down the right sideline for a one-handed catch. Defensively, George Rooks and Edwin Kolenge teamed up for a sack and Elijah Jones added an interception.
7on7: Skeete got involved early in the offense with multiple receptions. Jones and safety Cole Batson each broke up a pass, while linebacker Daveon Crouch notched an interception. Morehead completed the biggest play of the period on a deep ball down the left side to Ismael Zamor.
