Eagles worked in full pads inside Alumni Stadium on Tuesday
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Eagles worked in full pads at tag tempo inside Alumni Stadium on Tuesday morning, ahead of their scheduled off day on Wednesday.Â
First Song in Team Flex: Crunk Ain't Dead (Duke Deuce)Â
Offensive Highlights: Ryan O'Keefe scored the first touchdown of the day on a long connection from Emmett Morehead in the first team session, taking the top off the defense for an uncontested score. Morehead found Lewis Bond for a first down conversion later that session. Morehead strung together three straight first down completions in the second team session, to Charlie Gordinier, Kye Robichaux, and Taji Johnson, and finished the session with a touchdown connection to Cam'Ron Barfield in the flat. Thomas Castellanos found Jaden Williams twice for first downs in the second team session, and connected with Jaedn Skeete on a beautiful ball over the defensive back down the sideline in situational work.Â
Defensive Highlights: Alex Washington jumped a route over the middle of the field for the defense's first interception of the day in situational work. Cole Batson picked up a PBU, jumping to break up a deep ball to O'Keefe down the sideline. Elijah Jones and Jason Scott both logged PBUs in 7-on-7 work, preventing touchdowns on both occasions.Â
7-on-7, Red Zone: Thomas Castellanos completed four touchdowns this session, to Dino Tomlin, Jaedn Skeete, Ryan O'Keefe, and Cam'Ron Barfield. Emmett Morehead completed three touchdowns, to Joseph Griffin Jr., Alex Broome, and finished the period with a nice back shoulder fade to Xavier Coleman, scoring on the last play of the session.Â
