Preseason Notes: Practice No. 7

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Eagles finished their seventh day of preseason camp on Thursday night in Fish Field House ahead of their first scrimmage this Sunday.

First Song in Team Flex: Who Run It (G Herbo and Southside)

Offensive Highlights: Emmett Morehead found Jaden Williams for a completion on a well-executed play action design in the first team session. Kye Robichaux earned more carries today and ripped off a nice gain on the first play with the twos. Thomas Castellanos continued to show his agility in the pocket, escaping for several gains out of broken plays. Dino Tomlin had two touchdowns today, including a toe-tapper in the back of the end zone. Xavier Coleman made a great diving catch on the final play of red zone work.

Defensive Highlights: The run pressure impacted the rush throughout the first team session. Sione Hala had a nice interception in the left corner of the end zone in red-zone work. Jalon Williams picked up a PBU on a leaping deflection in the corner of the end zone. Shitta Sillah almost came away with an interception at the line of scrimmage in the third team session, reading the pass.

Red Zone, 7-on-7: Emmett Morehead found Ryan O'Keefe in the left corner for a score on the first play of the session. Dino Tomlin picked up both his TDs in this session. Joe Griffin got wide open in the middle of the end zone for a TD reception from Thomas Castellanos. Morehead completed two more touchdowns to Jaden Williams and Xavier Coleman to end the session.
