Lowe Announces 2023 Schedule

The regular season slate features a total of 18 games, including nine home matches and 10 ACC fixtures.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's soccer team and head coach Jason Lowe announced the schedule for the upcoming 2023 season today. The regular season slate features a total of 18 games, including nine home matches and 10 ACC fixtures.
The Eagles will host a pair of exhibition games against Merrimack (Aug. 8) and Providence (Aug. 12) before traveling to California to kick off the 2023 season. Boston College begins the year in earnest at Cal State Fullerton on Thursday, Aug. 17 followed by a game at Long Beach State on Sunday, Aug. 20.
BC will host South Carolina in the home opener on Thursday, Aug. 24 at the Newton Campus Soccer Field. San Jose State then comes to town three days later (Aug. 27). After a pair of non-conference road games at Michigan (Aug. 31) an Akron (Sept. 3), the Eagles return to the Heights for a five-game homestand. The team closes out non-conference play by hosting Dartmouth (Sept. 7) and Sacred Heart (Sept. 10).
ACC play begins at home on Sunday, Sept. 17 against Duke. The Eagles will close out the homestand with matches against Virginia Tech (Sept. 21) and Clemson (Sept. 24).
BC will then play three consecutive road games. After closing out the month of September at Pitt (Sept. 30), the team opens up October at Notre Dame (Oct. 5) and Florida State (Oct. 8). The Eagles return home to host Louisville (Oct. 14) before hitting the road to face Wake Forest (Oct. 19) and Virginia (Oct. 22).
The final home game and regular season game comes on Thursday, Oct. 26 against North Carolina.
The ACC Tournament quarterfinals will be held at campus sites, with the winning teams advancing to Cary, N.C. for the semifinals and championship.
