Eagles Win Doubles As Clemson Tops BC 4-1 in ACC Tournament Opener

CARY, N.C. — Clemson defeated Boston College 4-1 in the opening round of the ACC Tournament on Wednesday night. The Eagles added one more doubles point to a very successful spring doubles campaign, going up 1-0 behind wins from Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh, and Mason Fung and Jake Vassel. Will Kasten and Anesh Jayasundera played to a 3-3 match at No. 3 before the Eagles clinched the point.
The Eagles added several strong singles performances before Clemson clinched the match, with Bianchi and Matt Campbell both winning their first sets at No. 2 and No. 4.
