Eagles will continue homestand Sunday vs. Georgia Tech
WEYMOUTH, Mass. — The Clemson Tigers took down Boston College 5-2 on Friday night, as the Eagles move to 6-5 overall after last week's win over Fresno Pacific.
The Eagles came out with authority, with Mason Fung and Jake Vassel opening the match with a 7-6 win at No. 2 doubles. Juan Jose Bianchi and Max Motlagh won a 7-6 thriller at No. 1 doubles to open the scoring for Boston College. Will Kasten and Anesh Jayasundera played to a 6-6 match at No. 3 doubles before the Eagles clinched the first point.
BC went up 2-1 after Shreekar Eedara won his singles match in straight sets at No. 6, before Clemson clinched the match at 1st and 3rd singles.
The Eagles will look to rebound against Georgia Tech this Sunday at 10:00.
